DISD Schools
Attorneys volunteer to speak to 4th-6th grade DISD Social Studies classes for one hour on one day during the week of May 3-7. The volunteer speakers will discuss the 2004 Law Day theme - "To Win Equality by Law: Brown vs. Board at 50." A training session for volunteers will take place on Tuesday, April 27 at noon. Each volunteer will receive a 12-minute videotape to use as a teaching aid as well as a Brown vs. Board topic outline. To volunteer, please contact Allison Erwin at 214-220-7484.
