Program Coordinator (Part-Time) for the Appellate Judges Education Institute (AJEI). The Coordinator’s duties include planning and executing educational programming for appellate court judges, court personnel, and lawyers; working with the Board of Directors on compliance issues; preparing budgets; and negotiating contracts. J.D. degree, two years as a practicing attorney, and strong academic record required. Prior experience coordinating events and negotiating agreements is strongly preferred. $18-21 per hour (depending on experience). 25-29 hours per week from December 1, 2013 - June 30, 2014 (potential for permanent assignment thereafter). Candidate must be able to handle confidential information, meet deadlines, be highly organized, and able to juggle multiple competing priorities. Must demonstrate strong problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Word and Excel required.
