Nearly 250 local judges and lawyers will be on handFriday, May 3, as U.S. District Judge Jane J. Boyle presents the keynote address at the annual Law Day Luncheon sponsored by the Dallas Bar Association.
Law Day is celebrated each spring in bar associations across the country. Law Day also teaches the youth of today to become engaged in the law and to consider how the law can better serve the needs and interests of the people.
Additionally, students from Dallas ISD who have won essay and art contests related to this year’s Law Day theme will receive their awards at the luncheon.
The luncheon will be held at the Pavilion at the Belo Mansion (2101 Ross Ave. in downtown Dallas), at noon, Friday, May 3, and is open to the public.
