Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program Hosts Monthly Legal Clinics for Dallas County Residents
DALLAS, TEXAS—In the month of September, the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program (DVAP), a joint initiative of the Dallas Bar Association and Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas, will hold nine free Legal Clinics for Dallas County residents who meet certain financial guidelines. All clinics begin at 6:00 p.m.
Schedules and locations are as follows:
East Dallas (Grace United Methodist Church—4105 Junius at Haskell)
· Thursdays, September 6; and September 20
South Dallas (Martin Luther King, Jr. Center—2922 MLK Blvd.)
· Tuesdays, September 4; September 11; and September 25
West Dallas (Marillac Social Services Center—2843 Lapsley Street)
· Thursdays, September 13; and September 27
St. Phillip’s Community Center (1600 Pennsylvania Avenue)
· Tuesday, September 18
Garland (Salvation Army—451 W. Avenue D, Garland, TX 75040)
· Thursday, September 20
The clinics offer free legal advice and consultation in civil matters for those who qualify under Legal Aid’s income eligibility guidelines.
