Dallas Bar Association’s Spanish For Lawyers Program

Since 1994, the Dallas Bar Association has offered a unique program to lawyers, paralegals and legal assistants in the Dallas legal community, Spanish For Lawyers. This program enables attorneys to learn how to read, write and speak Spanish at an adult continuing education level, with emphasis on legal terminology at the intermediate and advanced levels. Classes are taught by university level professor Rosa Jara Simmons and all classes are held at the home of the Dallas Bar Association, the Belo Mansion. We offer Spring, Fall and Summer classes. Spring and Fall classes are thirteen weeks in length and the Summer short course is ten weeks in length.
